A resident of Los Angeles when he isn’t globetrotting or stalking his next celebrity profile, Duane is also a committed Anglophile and as such spends a good deal of time in London (Which btw, Duane says is home to the best martini ever at The Edgerton House Hotel.) Over the last 15 years, Duane has written about travel, lifestyle and entertainment for a number of distinguished publications around the world. In the course of his work, Duane has visited nearly every corner of the globe seeking out the best of everything and has interviewed celebrities from Lady Gaga, Jennifer Hudson and Tony Bennett to Jackie Collins, Eva Longoria-Parker and Chaka Khan to name a few.
Duane can frequently be found contributing to a number of travel and lifestyle publications in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom including Passport, Homefront and Frontiers as well as Advocate.com and GayTravelNews. He’s been the managing editor of a digital publication and host of “Here’s The Thing” an hour-long daily travel radio program. As a leading travel expert, Duane has also been a featured speaker at key travel industry trade shows. In his life before living out of luggage, Duane also had a career in the fashion business and even at one point was talent director for a Beverly Hills modeling agency.
In the few rare times that Duane stays put at home, he gets back to work on completing his first novel, Heaven or Hell, Darling?, as well as a continuing a collection of short essays entitled, One Day I Woke Up and Everybody Was Wearing Culottes!
