You’ll have to excuse me … but I just can’t stop writing about H&M. Every time I turn around … there’s a weird headline that catches my eye. First, it was the controversy surrounding their new Versace line and now it seems the lingerie models on their website aren’t even real. Well, at least from the neck down anyway. Read More »

Remember that scene in Airplane when Chief Kramer asks effusive air controller Johnny, “What do you make of this?” and proceeds to hand him a piece of paper? Johnny then grabs it and says, “Well, I can make a hat … or a broach … or a pterodactyl …” Well, I have found a scarf that would make Johnny proud. It doubles as a scarf, a head wrap, a bra … and the list goes on and on. Read More »

I am a firm believer in J. Crew’s product line. They’ve gone a bit more upscale in the last three years … and it shows. In fact, J. Crew has joined the crew – meaning the hundreds of other designers showing at New York Fashion Week, that is. J. Crew is now in the same stratosphere as Oscar de la Renta, Ralph Lauren and Vera Wang, who are all on the Fashion Week roster. Read More »

Celebrity style critic Steven Cojocaru is a fashion maven. He’s also my hero, a self-proclaimed crown prince of clothing. But more than anything else, Cojo is a survivor. He’s a walking, breathing testament to the power of medicine – having undergone not one, but two, kidney transplants. “This tragedy really turned my life upside down,” Cojo said during an interview with me yesterday.
